here are the comments I put under the pictures:
Uploaded a few photos of the house on which we are closing the first week of February. It is clear that all the little touches (awnings, wrought iron flower boxes, address boards, etc) added by the previous owners are the first things to go.
I hate the poodle tree landscaping and really want something that will look natural.
The front door and garage door color I am not too fond of either.
Was built in 1959-60 and owned by the same person since then. It is a veritable time capsule inside.
The owner told me that originally the house had natural colored wood above the brickwork and that it was replaced with this aluminum siding a good while ago. As much as I would like to go back to wood, I can't afford the trouble and cost seeing as though the interior needs a lot of renovation to bring it up to today's standards.
Any suggestions as to what can be done to give back its modern look to the exterior?
